CardioMech is developing a catheter-based mitral valve repair technology to specifically treat patients suffering from moderate to severe or severe, symptomatic DMR due to prolapse or flail. The CardioMech MVRS technology is designed to provide a fully percutaneous catheter-based therapy for the placement of artificial chord(s) to eliminate MR as an alternative to surgical mitral valve repair.
